Please note the BAF and CAF quantum on the East Africa trade in the month of APRIL 2011 as follows:

Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF)

Scope:             All west bound cargoes from China, South East Asia and North East Asia to all East Africa destinations
Quantum:        USD 650/TEU (an USD75/TEU increase from March)
Validity:             from 01st April 2011 till 30th April 2011

Scope:              All west bound cargoes from Indian Subcontinent and Middle East to all East Africa destinations
Quantum:         USD 400/TEU (an USD75/TEU increase from March)
Validity:              from 01st April 2011 till 30th April 2011

Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF)

Scope:             All west bound cargoes from Far East, Indian Subcontinent and Middle East to East Africa destinations
Factor:             20% (No change from March)
Validity:            from 01st April 2011 till further notice

Bunker price has been hiking in the last couple months and the revision is for the recovery of increased costs.
The bunker increase will be put on the All-in freight agreement.
