08th June, 2011 Emirates Shipping Line today, announced that it has appointed Equator Shipping Line Uganda Limited as its agency in Uganda. The appointment of the new agency is in line with Emirate's strategy of expanding its Africa presence and further develops its Far East, Asia to Africa (AFA) and the Gulf and Indian Subcontinent (GIA) services. Both these services are important to its presence in the African market. The appointment also opens up further opportunities that Uganda as a country provides.
