Subject: Schedule Change – Emirates Sana Voyage 1832W
Please kindly be informed that the adverse weather at Central China has severely impacted the overall vessel schedules in the region. Consecutive Typhoons are seriously ruining the transportation and marine operations, especially at Shanghai port and Ningbo port within these several weeks. Terminal congestion, port close and suspension, bundle of vessels waiting to berth, schedule delay, rotation change and port omission are inevitable by carriers in the market. Schedule of Galex vessel Emirates Sana was badly affected during her voyage in this region and the impact is highlighted below. In order to minimize the impacts to all shipments, we will try our utmost effort to make the best arrangement. Initial Schedule – Direct to Xiamen / Da Chan Bay / Singapore / Cochin (westbound)
Changed Schedule – Omission Xiamen / Da Chan Bay / Singapore / Cochin (westbound)
Reasons of Change:
MV Emirates Sana encountered consecutive typhoons at Central China region and suffered from severe port congestion and serious delay at Shanghai and Ningbo. She had been waiting for berth at both ports for days. For schedule recovery, port omission of above mentioned ports is determined under force majeure condition.
Xiamen / Fuzhou import boxes will be discharged at Port Klang with ETA 27 August and transshipped to next available vessel to final destination. On carriage plan will be provided asap.
Cochin import boxes will be discharged at Cochin eastbound call with ETA 17 September.
