Subject: China Ningbo Port Pandemic Update
Thank you for shipping with Emirates Shipping Line. We regret to inform you of the pandemic situation at Ningbo Port in China and the possible impact.
Due to one case of covid-19 reported at one of the Ningbo terminals on 1st January and followed with some more positive records, local government has taken measurements for epidemic prevention at port and the community. Port productivity, gate movement and truck activity has been affected, resulting delay to some export shipments. Most import and transshipment boxes are seriously impacted due to the control of gate out at certain terminals.
Our Ningbo office is keeping close liaison with terminals, customers and involved parties for the best arrangement so as to minimize negative impact on shipments.
