Subject: Malaysia – Port Klang to Southeast Asia and Xingang China – 6th Update
Thank you for shipping with our company. Referring to our 5th update on 18th March 2021, we would like to inform you the latest development.
Delayed Connection ex Port Klang, Malaysia to Southeast Asia Out Ports
Port Klang – Space to Thailand, Indonesia & other Southeast Asia ports still remains tight and critical. Most of the Feeder Operators are fully booked and only limited spaces are offered.
Pasir Gudang, Malaysia – feeder space continues to be tight and critical as it is loaded on the same vessel to Jakarta.
Penang, Malaysia – Space and connection is manageable by now
Bangkok, Thailand – Situation is still critical even approaching various feeder operators. Space is seriously short and feeder operators are unable to allocate and confirm any buffer.
Laem Chabang, Thailand – Space and connection is manageable by now.
Surabaya, Indonesia – Situation remains critical due to some feeder operators terminating their services until further notice. The remaining feeders are fully booked with no firm connection.
Jakarta, Indonesia – Space is tight and critical due to several feeder operators have stopped their service until further notice. The remaining feeders are fully booked until mid of April.
Belawan, Indonesia – Situation is still critical, due to space constraints and the connection is taking almost a month.
Yangon, Myanmar – Due to the unstable situation, leading to space constraint and several feeder operators have stopped their service until further notice.
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – Space and connection is manageable by now.
Delayed Connection ex Port Klang, Malaysia to Xingang, China
Xingang, China – Space issue has been improved.
Currently, we are still negotiating with various feeder / vessel operators for any possibilities of earliest connection to minimize the negative impact. However, the situation is anticipated to be worst in current month and the transshipment connection time may still take more than 2 weeks.
We deeply apologize for this force majeure situation beyond carrier’s control. Looking forward to your kind understanding and patience. We are monitoring the situation and will keep you informed for any further update.
