Subject: Malaysia – Transshipment Port Klang to Southeast Asia and Xingang China –10th Update
Thank you for shipping with our company. Referring to our 9th update on 26th July 2021, we would like to inform you the latest development.
Delayed Connection ex Port Klang, Malaysia to Southeast Asia Out Ports
Port Klang – Space to Thailand, Indonesia and Myanmar still very tight and critical.
Pasir Gudang, Malaysia – situation is manageable but connection time take more than 2 weeks.
Penang, Malaysia – situation is improving now and manageable.
Bangkok, Thailand – Situation is still critical most of the Feeder Operators still not accept big lot booking and only limited spaces are offered.
Laem Chabang, Thailand – Space and connection is manageable but connection time take more than 2 weeks.
Surabaya, Indonesia – Space is still tight and critical; feeder operators unable to allocate space till middle of September.
Jakarta, Indonesia – – situation is improving now and manageable but connection time take more than 2 weeks.
Belawan, Indonesia – Situation is improving now and manageable.
Yangon, Myanmar – Space is critical due to some feeder operators terminating their services until further notice. The remaining feeders only limited spaces are offer but with no firm connection.
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – Space and connection is manageable by now.
Haiphong, Vietnam – Space and connection is manageable by now.
Delayed Connection ex Port Klang, Malaysia to Xingang, China
Xingang, China – Space and connection is extremely tight and critical due to several feeder vessel omissions and lead to massive rollover. Currently, feeder operators do not accept bookings and transshipment idling at Port Klang may take more than 4 to 6 weeks.
We are still pushing various feeder operators updates for October sailing and any other options, but situation is extremely adverse.
