Thank you for shipping with our company. We would like to inform you the latest development of transshipment via Jebel Ali UAE.
Feeder Space is still very tight and insufficient on all sectors catered from Jebel Ali. Owing to berthing delays and Covid-19 vessels quarantined; as well as reduced working hours at Terminals during Ramadan, it is consequently making the Transshipment situation become much worse.
Delayed Connection ex Jebel Ali, UAE to Middle East Out Ports
Umm Qasr, Iraq – Due to space and schedule constraints at Berth 20, we are trying to divert some volume to Berth 27 or Berth 11 with consignee’s consent. Transshipment idling is at average of 2-3 weeks.
Bahrain, Dammam, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Other Middle East ports – Situation has improved but feeder space still tight and transshipment delay at average of 1 week.
Delayed Connection ex Jebel Ali, UAE to Far East and Southeast Asia
Space is extremely tight and critical due to schedule constraint and insufficient space especially during Ramadan. Transshipment delay at average 1-2 weeks.
