Owing to bad weather; severe port congestion due to delays in vessel and Covid-19 vessels quarantined; as well as the limited feeder space on all sectors catered from Jebel Ali, it is consequently leading to high Transshipment volumes on ground at Jebel Ali.
Delayed Connection ex Jebel Ali, UAE to Middle East Out Ports
Kuwait – Space is extremely tight and critical due to schedule constraint and insufficient feeder space especially for the unusual big lot shipment. Transshipment delay may take 2-4 weeks.
Dammam, Saudi Arabia – Space is tight and critical due to schedule constraint and congestion. Transshipment idling is at average of 2 weeks.
Bahrain – Due to space and schedule constraint, only limited allocation per sailing is confirmed by feeder operators. Situation will be improved soon and more space to be secured. Current waiting time at Jebel Ali is around 2-3 weeks.
Other Middle East ports – Transshipment is also impacted due to space and schedule constraint. Some boxes have to wait for 2 weeks before connection.
We apologize again for the inconveniences caused due to the force majeure situation beyond our control.
