Subject:  Gulf India Africa Express (GIA) – Extra Loader “M.V. Alion”  3^rd Update

With reference to our previous notice of Extra Loader M.V. Alion on 21^st September 2021, we would like to provide you the latest update.   In order to minimize the impacts to your shipments, we are putting our utmost effort to make the best arrangement. Schedule Change:

Vessel and Voyage – M.V. Alion Voyage 2133S

Changed Schedule – ETA Mombasa, Kenya 15^th October 2021

Reasons of Change: 

As per advice from the Vessel Owners, we regret to inform you that M.V. Alion Voyage 2133S suffered engine breakdown and repairs carried out by crew are unsuccessful.  Currently, vessel is drifting towards West coast of India and awaiting details from vessel owners for tug boat to tow the vessel to nearest safe port for investigation and repair.

We apologize again for this unexpected incident and the delay caused by force majeure situation which is out of our control.  We are now collaborating with the vessel owners for all efforts minimizing the impact on cargo delivery to the final destinations and we will keep you updated when there is any further news regarding the schedule and cargo arrangement.
