This requirement is part of an initiative to improve data accuracy,<br>streamline customs processing, and enhance integration between shipping lines and<br>Customs brokers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Key Points:<\/strong><br>This requirement is effective from 26th January 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Consignee\u2019s Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) must be clearly stated in<br>the Consignee Information section on the Bill of Lading (BL) to avoid the manifest being<br>rejected by NTANCIS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicable for shipments where Port of Discharge, Final Place of delivery, and<br>Consignee\u2019s address is Tanzania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Not applicable for shipments where Port of Discharge, Final Place of delivery is<br>Tanzania, but the Consignee\u2019s address is not Tanzania<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For consignments listed as \u201cTo Order,\u201d Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) of the<br>Notify party must be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For consignments to banks, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) of the notify party<br>must be provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To ensure compliance and delays in the clearance of the cargo, please provide the valid<br><strong>Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN)<\/strong> of the Consignee while submitting Shipping<br>Instructions for your shipments to Tanzania.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you for support and partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","class_list":["post-11780","advisories","type-advisories","status-publish","hentry","advisories-tag-advisory","advisories-tag-tanzania"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.7 -
