Job Summary
In view of current service expansion, our ESL team is seeking to recruit an Executive to join the Business Application Support team.
The role primarily involves configuring EDI mappings, monitoring transaction flows, troubleshooting integration issues, and ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of data exchanges. The EDI Specialist works closely with stakeholders, IT, business users, and external vendors to onboard new trading partners, implement EDI standards, and optimize system performance The ideal candidate should be a self-motivated professional with strong analytical, communication, hands-on experience with EDI tools, communication protocols, ERP integrations. and stakeholder management skills. The ability to work effectively in dynamic and ambiguous environments, coupled with strong attention to detail and a results-driven mindset, is essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and support inbound and outbound EDI transactions and interface activities to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Investigate and resolve EDI failures, system discrepancies, and transmission-related issues in a timely manner.
- Manage incidents, service requests, and escalations through tools such as Jira or other ticketing systems.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for issue resolution, onboarding, and new EDI setups.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
- Ensure adherence to operational procedures, internal controls, and business guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of operational activities, including tracking, reporting, and documentation of issues.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and knowledge-sharing eorts within the team.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and analytical requirements as requested by management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related technical field is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in an EDI support, analyst, or implementation role.
- Proficiency in EDI translation software (e.g., Cleo, Boomi, SPS Commerce, True Commerce, IBM Sterling Gentran)
