In accordance with the IMO regulation, please be advised that ESL EFS will be calculated based on the Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil (VLSFO) which currently falls between USD500 to USD550 per ton.
ESL will be applying below EFS quantum with effect from 1st June 2025 and will be reviewed on monthly basis.

Effective 01-January 2025, the New Jordan Customs System will require all import manifests classified under “IMPORT” to include the Consignee’s a 9-digit Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). This requirement is part of an initiative to improve data accuracy, streamline customs processing, and enhance integration between shipping lines and Customs brokers.
This requirement is effective from 01- January 2025.
The shippers must provide the consignee’s Tax Identification Number (TIN) at the time of sending Shipping Instructions.
Applicable for shipments where Port of Discharge, Final Place of delivery, and Consignee’s address is Jordan.
Not applicable for shipments where Port of Discharge, Final Place of delivery is Jordan, but the Consignee’s address is not Jordan.
For consignments listed as “To Order,” Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) of the Notify party must be provided.
For consignments to banks, Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) of the notify party.

In order to increase the efficiency and productivity of port operations in line with international standards, the Saudi Ports Authority has issued a Circular No: (31) of 2021 regulating cargo owners to stow goods imported in containers into Saudi Arabia with the use of pallets.
Starting from June 1st, 2025, it shall be using orders in shipping and packing all import containers to the kingdom ports gradually for one year and following to be mandatory.
The following goods will be excluded from applying using pallets:
• Bulk items are dry or liquid which are carried directly by special means such as wheat, and other grains, cement, gypsum and petroleum items • Raw materials in jumbo bags with high weight which is difficult to put in orders • Heavy equipment & machines and production lines, electric generators, mechanics • Metal products which are coming in big reels or flats • Iron fences and big pipes, scaffoldings etc. • Marbel blocks, stones, alabasters, and raw granite before manufacturing.
3. The excluded orders will be considered for any cargo facing difficulties in loading due to their special nature according to an official request to MAWANI including an accurate description of the goods and the case will be checked with coordination of ZATCA to take a suitable decision.
4.In case of non-compliance to use the pallets for import shipment in containers to the kingdom’s ports, are subject to penalties, and fines shall be imposed whereby the applicable regulations in the kingdom
The Authority is announcing and confirming to all shipping agents to inform Shipping Lines and importers to inform their customers with the instructions to use the pallets in shipping & packing all import containers to the kingdom

We would like to inform you of an important compliance matter concerning recent import practices at the Northern Port of Umm Qasr.
According to Iraq’s Ministry of Transportation, importing vehicles in containers without clearly stating their model information is a direct violation of the country’s established import rules and regulations.
We strongly urge all shippers at the loading ports to strictly comply with import regulations, especially by ensuring that:
All vehicles are properly documented with accurate model information.
No restricted or unlawful goods are included in the shipments.
Please be advised that any future violations may result in legal action being taken by our company against those responsible for breaching import conditions.
