We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator with expertise in Linux, Windows, to manage, maintain, and optimize our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure the stability, security, and performance of our application servers, operating systems, and databases while providing technical support to internal teams.
Responsibilities:
1. Linux & Windows Server Administration
- Administer Linux (/CentOS/Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments.
- Perform system updates, security hardening, and performance tuning.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group policies.
- Monitor system logs, disk usage, and resource utilization.
2. General IT Infrastructure Support
- Provide **L2/L3 support** for application and server-related issues.
- Collaborate with ERP vendor for performance optimisation.
- Maintain documentation for system configurations and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with security best practices and company policies.
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
3. JBoss WildFly Administration (*optional)
- Install, configure, and maintain **JBoss WildFly** application servers in test, and production environments.
- Deploy and manage Java-based applications on WildFly.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and apply patches/updates.
- Configure clustering, load balancing, and high availability (HA) setups.
- Manage security settings, SSL certificates, and access controls.
Requirements:
Skills & Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator
- Hands-on experience with Linux (command line, SSH, cron jobs) and Windows Server.
- Familiarity with Apache/Nginx, Tomcat, and networking concepts.
- Understanding security best practices (firewalls, SSL, authentication).
- Experience with **monitoring tools (EGMonitor)** is a plus.
- Knowledge of virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V,) and cloud platforms (Azure) is beneficial.
Preferred Certifications (optional):
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator
- JBoss Certified Application Administrator (JCAA)
