Emirates Shipping Line today announced the appointment of Sushil Sriram as Chief Executive Officer.

Sushil succeeds Till Ole Barrelet, who steps down after four years of leadership. During his tenure, Till strengthened the company’s strategic direction and positioned ESL on the global map, laying a strong foundation for sustained growth.

Sushil brings two decades of international leadership experience across strategy, operations, and commercial management in diverse markets in Asia and Europe. Since joining ESL as Chief Trade Officer in January 2024, Sushil has worked closely with the leadership team to advance ESL’s position among the world’s top shipping lines.

He takes the helm as the liner sails into a new chapter of our ESL story, celebrating 20 years of connecting opportunities. Under Sushil’s leadership, ESL will continue to grow, to remain a carrier of choice for customers and partners alike.
