The attached circulars received from Port Authority is a continuation of the joint efforts of the Saudi Port Authority (MAWANI) and Saudi Customs to comply with Kingdom’s 24-hours initiative to finalize the container clearing procedures (Direct Inspection).

The inspection of the containers is performed through X-Ray machines upon discharging of the containers from the Vessel.

Therefore, please take note of the new procedures and charges as per the attached Circulars with reference to Supreme order no.8478, dated: 11/2/1438H.

These charges will be applicable on all containers discharged from the vessel and will be effective from 1st December 2017 / 13th of Rabi’-Awal 1439. *
