Project Management Lead – Mumbai / Chennai, India

Candidate will be responsible to oversee and coordinate with various PE controlled divisions for project management tasks. This role involves managing all the projects within the PE TEAM with clear communications to the functional heads and all impacted parties. The release of modules, on boarding of new software, training schedules to be aligned so that the best time management, completion of a project is reached within scope, and budget meeting the expected quality standards. Works closely with process management and IT team.

Responsibilities

Project Planning & Execution

  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects across various departments.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Communicate reasons in case there are changes to the project timelines
  • Develop and implement project management methodologies, standards, and best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks and issues, ensuring timely resolution.

Project Cost Management

  • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints.
  • Track and report on project financials, including cost forecasting and variance analysis.

Quality Assurance, Compliance & documentaion

  • Ensure projects adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and post-project evaluations.
  • Provide detailed reports and presentations to senior management on project performance and outcomes.

Requirements

  • Masters of Business Administration
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in project management in any industry which is fast paced – FMCG/ Production/E-commerce etc.
  • Mandatory certification – Six Sigma (preferred black belt) and PMP certificate
  • Skills in certain PM tools (Agile, Monday etc.)
  • Ability to develop contingency plans with the Team lead
  • Ability to handle project delivery and timelines
  • Ability to monitor delivery expectations from other teams
