We are looking for a high-performing Branch Manager with sales acumen to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible for maximizing our sales team potential, crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to upper management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Chennai branch.
- Manage and lead the team to achieve business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive growth and profitability.
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decisions.
- Report on branch performance, including financial metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Collaborate with other branches and departments to share best practices and drive company-wide initiatives.
Requirements
- Graduate (MBA preferred).
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the shipping or logistics industry with a minimum of 8-10 years of experience.
- Strong understanding of the container shipping market and industry regulations.
- Strong Leadership and Team Management skills.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to develop and execute strategic plans.
