Documentations Officer, Customer Service – Bangkok, Thailand

We’re looking for a self-motivated individual to take on the role of Documentations Officer in our Thailand office, who will be responsible for supporting export-related activities.

Tasks may include but are not exclusive to: Overseeing the preparation of commercial documents in accordance with export requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain export files in an organized and catalogued system.
  • Support cross-functional departments and strictly adhere to ESL document policies.
  • Prepare and audit draft Bills of Lading (B/L) based on Shipping Instructions received and provide B/L confirmation, and authorise booking agents to print B/L.
  • Check container lists, seals, packing, weight, measurement, shipper details, HS code, VGM submissions, manifest against B/L data.
  • Finalise B/L, creating MCN where necessary, and collect dues and print B/L if necessary to ensure the timely processing of export shipments.
  • Distribute blank B/L forms to booking agents, maintaining records.
  • Perform Telex Release based on customer requirements.
  • Issue vessel certificates upon customers’ request.
  • Upload charges including T/R fees, correction fee, vessel certificate fee to LT system for collection.
  • Attend to customer queries and requests if any and liaise with relevant port offices when required.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and assignments.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Qualifications in logistics or related fields.
  • 0-3 years of experience in container related industries.
    • Fresh graduates are welcome.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
