Executive, Customer Service & Documentation – Hong Kong

This position offers multi-functional exposures on customer services, documentation and process engineering.

Responsibilities:

  1. Handle customer enquiries across channels on bookings/documents/shipments, while liaising with other agency departments/overseas agents where necessary.
  2. Coordinate with the Sales team on the booking forecast and rates filing.
  3. Special cargo/containers (DG/Out of gauge/Reefer etc.) to the appropriate departments for authorization before further processing.
  4. Send booking confirmation to customers and follow up on the booking progress.
  5. Prepare and audit draft Bills of Lading (B/L) based on Shipping Instructions received and provide B/L confirmation, and authorize booking agents to print B/L.
  6. Check container lists, seals, packing, weight, measurement, shipper details, HS code, VGM submissions, manifest against B/L data.
  7. Finalize B/L and charges to ensure the timely processing of export shipments.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in a relevant field is preferred (e.g., Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics…etc.)
  • 0-3 years of experience in container-related industries
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Attention to details, highly organized
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • A great team player
  • Computer literacy
  • Fluency in Cantonese & English, both written and spoken
  • Additional language capacity is a plus
  • Part-time will also be considered
