  • Implement business plans / set KPIs and achieve best results.
  • Optimise allocations for the best outcomes.
  • Coordinate sales activities with the appropriate overseas sales team maximizing information exchanges, best practice sharing, sourcing of additional leads and leveraging of cross trade business opportunities.
  • Gather market intelligence and perform benchmarking to improve service levels and contributions. ESA standards and defined procedures.
  • Contribute to the improvement of sales productivity and in the optimization and maximization of the freight earnings and the volume.
  • Take ownership of all customer complaints relating to export customer services, investigate and resolve such complaints, and follow up with customers to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Carry out all necessary duties to ensure target results set by the management are hit, while enlarging the customers base.
  • Act as an integrated unit in procuring business from customers, and in providing excellent customer service and support with other departments.
  • Provide input, as required, and as part of periodical reports or team alignment meetings for the sales strategy, reporting activities and performance of the sales organization.
  • Conduct relevant market intelligence and build up market knowledge to utilize in sales activities.
  • Ad hoc projects and business campaigns.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years sales/commercial experience in shipping industry.
  • University graduate preferrable.
  • English proficiency of CET 4.
  • Fluency in Cantonese.
