Responsibilities:
- Maintain good relationships with and provide support to existing customers, regain support from lost customers, and expand customer base.
- Visit customers regularly to strengthen relationships, provide updates, solve problems, etc.
- Regularly provide updates on market insights, competitors’ activities and customer profile to the Sales manager and Trade team.
- Achieve the company’s targets for both volume and revenue.
- Monitor and manage customers’ bookings for given allocations and reduce shortfall.
- Coordinate with relevant internal departments for smooth daily operations.
- Analyse and find solutions for customers’ pain points.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, sales & marketing, supply chain management, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of experience in Sales for the shipping industry.
- Proficiency in the English language.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Service-mindedness and self-motivation.
- Computer literacy.
